Monday 9.9.13 Hooke's Law

Learning Objective

TSWBAT organize and analyze data, formulating scatterplots, 3CPC, and algebraic expressions from problem situations.


Critical Questions

1. Explain how a graph of a function is related to its 3CPC.
2. Explain how a 3CPC of a function is related to its equation.
3. Explain how the equation of a function is related to its graph.

Demonstration of Learning

Given 3 critical questions, TSWBAT organize and analyze data, formulating scatterplots, 3CPC, and algebraic expressions from problem situations, at a success rate of 75% or better.

Agenda

2 min - Introduction
10 min - Profiling
23 min - Hooke's Law
8 min - Demonstration of Learning
2 min - Closure
25 min - Fibulas and Femurs (4th Period Only)
5 min - Wrap Up (4th Period Only)



Profiling and Action Plans

Students will profile their current grades and create an action plan for improving these grades.  Action plans will be sent home for a parent signature and returned tomorrow, Tuesday the 10th.
